These machines are utilized for the drawing of:
:: Low and medium carbon wires.
:: Bright wires
:: Galvanized wires.
:: Coppered wires for CO2 welding.

The maximum inlet wire diameter is 2,50 mm., with a finish wire diameter of 0,60 mm.
The maximum number of drawing passes is 11 wet passes, with 1 dry pass at the entrance. The machine can be utilized also with fewer passes.
The maximum working speed is 15 mt/sec.
The capstans have a diameter of 280 or 310 mm., depending on the machine model.
The transmission is with Gleason crown wheel and pinion in NiCr steel.
The pulling cones have superficial facing in tungsten carbide.
This kind of machines can be equipped with D.C. drive, with A.C. drive with variable-speed and with A.C. drive with rotor starters.
