Their primary function is to calibrate the wire to the precise diameter required for the application.<br\/>The in-line drawing machine operates automatically in sync with the production machine.<\/p>\n\n<p>The compensating arm (dancer) auto-regulates the drawing speed according to the wire demand from the cold former, and our machine allows for a series of additional adjustments as well. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Our SKP model in-line drawing machines offer several advantages: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Cost Savings:<\/strong> lower costs by using wire rod or semi-finished wire instead of pre-drawn wire.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Inventory Reduction:<\/strong> in some cases, multiple drawn wire diameters can be obtained from a single wire gauge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Improved Workability of Material:<\/strong> since the wire is drawn just before entering the cold former, it is warm and thus easier to work with. This can also reduce aging-related hardening issues in certain materials.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Diameter Control:<\/strong> with an in-line drawing machine, wire diameter can be checked just before it is used to make the final product, allowing for tighter tolerances.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Better Wire Surface:<\/strong> wire drawn in-line has a clean, lubricated surface, which enhances the quality of the product.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Extended Tool Life:<\/strong> warm, lubricated, and well-calibrated wire contributes to the extended lifespan of cold-forming equipment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reduced Downtime:<\/strong> heavier wire coils can be used since the drawing machine absorbs the pulling force rather than the cold former&#8217;s feeding rolls, which may not have sufficient strength to handle this task. Those rolls will pull only the final winding of drawn wire.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Low Operating Costs:<\/strong> drawing speed is relatively low (in meters per minute), keeping die and lubricant costs minimal. Additionally, the operator managing the cold former can also operate the drawing machine. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>Our SKP series of in-line drawing machines are manufactured in 20 basic models, each further customizable according to specific client needs.
